The company may ask you to work from home in case of emergencies such as natural calamities; epidemics and other may provide you a laptop computer. Use the following guidelines to protect the company laptop and information inside while working from home.
Top 5 points to secure your computer while working from home
1. Do not share the laptop with anyone including your children and other family members
2. Do not connect the company laptop to an open/ un-encrypted Wi-Fi
3. The ADSL/Broadband connection at home is not very secure. Ensure the Anti-Virus and Firewall is turned ON
4. Use the Screen Saver lockout while not working on the laptop
5. Physically protect the laptop by using a laptop lock and by not placing eatables/drinks near it
